Notifications
If something changes in the Portal that is relevant to you, for example if you are assigned a task or you are mentioned in a comment, you will automatically receive a notification. You can open your notifications in the menu bar via Notifications. There you can also see how many notifications are currently unread. Clicking on a notification will take you directly to the relevant place in the Portal.
Note: The notifications are updated once every minute.
Note: By default, a sound is played in the Portal when you receive a new notification. You can switch this off and on via your user settings.
Notification types
The notifications have different colors and icons depending on the type.
Comments
Notifications about comments in objects for which you are responsible and replies to your own comments are marked in yellow.
Note: Comments are automatically marked as read as soon as you click on the corresponding card.

Mentions
Notifications of comments or texts in which you are mentioned are marked in orange.
Note: Mentions are automatically marked as read as soon as you click on the corresponding card.
Note: If you have been mentioned in the form for a transition of an extended release workflow, navigate to the version object by clicking on the notification, where you can view the details of the current status. The comment in which you were mentioned will then be highlighted again in the details.

Version releases
Version release notifications are marked in green.
Green notifications inform you about releases of the following objects:

Favorites and their children
-
Requirements: To receive the message, you must be referenced as the document owner or responsible person in the tasks, sub-processes, processes or process groups that are linked to the document.

Requirements: To receive the message, you must be referenced as an operational process manager in the last released version.
Tasks
Notifications for tasks that you need to complete are highlighted in blue.
Note: Tasks are automatically removed from the notifications as soon as they have been completed.

Workflow states
Notifications for workflow statuses that you should be informed about as soon as they occur are marked in purple.
Note: If it is a notification in connection with an extended release workflow, you will see the corresponding version information. If you click on the map, the object is displayed in the appropriate version.
Note: Purple notifications are an extension of the default notifications (yellow, orange, green and blue). You can use the workflow configuration to specifically determine who is notified when the respective status is reached. Further details can be found under Configure states.
Status changes in the Compliance Manager
Notifications of status changes that you as the creator or participant of a Compliance Check should be informed about are marked in pink.
Mark notifications as read
You have several options for marking notifications as read.
Mark individual notifications as read
Hover over an unread notification and click on
.
Mark all notifications as read
Click on the Mark all as read button below your unread notifications.
Alternatively, click on
next to the Notifications heading to mark all notifications as read.
Manage read notifications
To open read notifications, click on the Read notifications heading.
Delete read notification
You can delete individual read notifications by clicking on
in the corresponding card.
Delete all read notifications
You can delete all read notifications by clicking on
next to the Read notifications heading.
Then confirm in the dialog that you want to delete all read notifications.
